TRAVELING FROM OUT OF TOWN?
Reefer truck will be provided courtesy of our friends at Evans Meats & Seafood. The truck will be parked at Legacy Park starting Saturday morning @ 9AM if you need to drop off and store anything. Label everything with your name/restaurant.
Please note: We cannot accommodate special oyster requests. You can source your own oysters, but you'll be responsible for shucking and storing them. If using the refrigerated truck, LABEL the oysters clearly with your restaurant/chef name to avoid mixing.
LODGING:
We have a hotel room booked for our out-of-towners on Saturday 10/18 and Sunday 10/29 at the The Courtyard by Marriott (130 Clairemont Ave), located just a short distance from the event site. If you haven't received your confirmation directly from the hotel, please check your Other/SPAM folders, and reach out directly to: Brittany.Williams@aimbridge.com.
THE VENUE
We're proud to be back at Legacy Park (500 S Columbia Dr, Decatur, GA 30030) for year 9! Legacy Park is conveniently located on the southeastern side of Decatur, just 1.3 miles from the Square and 1 mile from Kimball House. SATURDAY NIGHT WELCOME RECEPTION
Join us for a reception Saturday, October 18th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Staplehouse (541 Edgewood Ave. SE. Atlanta, GA 30312). These good friends have offered the use of their lovely backyard for us for the evening. Parking is extremely limited, so we encourage rideshare. If you must, free street parking is available on Edgewood Avenue and Howell Street. There is also a valet lot next to Staplehouse in the Modern Dental parking lot that serves another nearby establishment. They will allow you to valet with them for $12 plus tip if there are spaces available.
SUNDAY NIGHT AFTER-PARTY
You're invited to join us at Gene's (2371 Hosea L Williams Drive, Atlanta, GA, 30317). Seating is VERY limited so please feel free to have dinner elsewhere and then head over to Gene's afterwards for a jello shot. We recommend Poor Hendrix just next door and La Fonda right across the street.

3PM - Doors open for VIP Ticket Holders
4pm - Doors open for GA Ticket Holders
6pm-ish - Rock Paper Scissors Competition and Live Auction
7pm - End and head to after-party
LOAD-IN & PARKING
Load-in can begin at 12pm; no exceptions b/c we won't be ready for you! At noon, you can pull up right to the event site for load-in.
Please enter the park via the SOUTH Driveway - that will get you closest to the Oyster tent. See image below.
When you arrive, go FIRST to the Oyster Farmer & All Other Vendors check-in tent so we know you’re here, and we’ll show you to your table. We'll have volunteers onsite to help you.
After unloading your vehicle, please plan to move it out of the area quickly for others to load-in.
All load-in must be finished and cars cleared out by 2pm; please be set-up and ready to go for VIP ticket holders at 3pm.
COCKTAILER SET-UP NEEDS
We provide:
(1) 6’ service table on risers w/ black linen
(1) 6’ prep table w/ black linen
Bus Tub
Ice (not fancy ice)
Bar towels
Bev napkins
King Cube Ice (if requested)
Up to you:
· Your own shakers, bar tools, etc.
· PLEASE BRING A VESSEL TO BATCH IN ONSITE!
· Please feel free to bring any other decor, branding, signage you have if you want!

We will also have some runners/pourers on the wine, cocktail & beer stations to help y'all if you need to take a break, get more ice, get out from behind the tables. They’ll be easy to spot in their Volunteer t-shirts so don’t be shy about flagging one down.
GETTING YOUR PRODUCT ONSITE
Your product will be available at Legacy Park upon arrival. If it’s not at your station when you arrive, please flag down one of our volunteers to grab it from back-of-house.
GROUP PHOTO
We’ll be gathering for our annual group photo with all farmers, chefs, and Oyster South team around 2:15pm. Don’t miss it!
SHELL RECYCLING
Shell 2 Shore will be onsite again this year collecting shells and talking to folks about oyster shell recycling. Attendees will be prompted to toss their used empty into blue shell recycling located throughout the event site.
LOAD-OUT
Please remove all personal belongings from your station. We will take care of removing linens, breaking down tables, trash, etc. We cannot store anything overnight for pick-up. All vendors must depart the park by 8:30pm.
